Body Archive

A week of experimenting with new photo apps, charcoal, mixed media, and texture. I worked with filters, crayons, watercolor, and black paper, letting myself play with blur, layering, and distortion. I edited images of Black women I admire, captured a moment of my own body, and finally made a postcard I have been wanting to create. Much of this work traces my body, especially my eyes, as they learn how to see again, holding both discomfort and discovery in the same frame.
