Color like no one is
correcting you
WELCOME
CRAYON HOLDERS“…a place to return to your inner child, to being free when making did not have to make sense, when you could play and not have it all figured out. crayons were never about perfection, they were about color and feeling, letting it move through you. somewhere along the way we learned to hold it in, the joy, the grief, the real feelings.”
i am hosting my first ever
art show.an experience rooted in my journey of learning to live in and return to my body.
this work explores disability, mental health, and the ways i have disconnected and slowly found my way back.
it moves through identity, faith, and what it means to exist in a black body.throughout the month, there will be space to gather, create, and engage
through artist talks, open mic nights, embodied practices, and creative experiences.…More details coming soon…
